So you think you want a web site? Are you committed to keeping it current and accurate? All important things to consider when proposing an internet presence.
- The cost effectiveness of web advertising and shopping on line has taken us all to new marketing dimensions.
- Our web site has been consistent in the search engines and I believe it is primarily due to persistent updating and new information we upload almost daily. That crazy Diary called "The Adventures of Dear Abbie's Wife" doesn't hurt either! The more word base and keywords you have the better chance a search engine will find you. If you upload a web site one time and never update or change text or pictures you might as well enlist in a one time add in a magazine for $500-$1000, or save your money. Then you take the chance it will be seen maybe once! With a web site it is limitless!
- Since 1998 I have assisted family and friends with web sites. Giving them the opportunity to reach more potential buyers. It has opened doors and windows for them that were closed to the ordinary farm and ranch a few years ago.
- If you have a special breed, small business or belong to a small organization you can't afford not to maintain a web site.
- I prefer to deal with agricultural related sites as that is my special marketing expertise. They are also the kind of folks that I am used to dealing with, and they are also the people that need web site presence the worst.
