These Maintainer Sires all go back to some of our top genetics in the Braunvieh herd. Turk is 50% Maine Anjou and 25% Chi/Angus and 25% Braunvieh. TLC Hardy is 50% Maine and 25% Angus 25% Braunvieh. Vincente and Tracker are 50 % Maine Anjou and 50% Braunvieh. You might ask why? We want to retain maternal power in our Maine Anjou cattle also keeping a big sound foot. We have been able to breed these sires to first calf heifers with great success. Some of our very top calves have come from these sires.
